Our Company participated in the international workshop "Execution Phases and Approval Acquisition Procedure for Oil and Gas Field Development Projects in Russia". The event was held by Noncommercial Association "Petroleum Advisory Forum" (PAF) in Moscow, on October 28-29, 2009.

The Noncommercial Association PAF consists of international oil & gas service companies, which have their business in Russia: AKER SOLUTIONS, BP, CHEVRON, CONOCOPHILLIPS, DET NORSKE VERITAS, ENI, EXXONMOBIL, Japan Oil, Gas & Metals National Corporation, PETROLEUM GEO SERVICES, REPSOL, SHELL, STATOILHYDRO, TOTAL, WINTERSHALL.

Branan Environment consultants made presentations entitled:

• Overview of stages of project implementation and processes of obtaining approvals for each stage in Russia (in relation to projects for development of oil, gas facilities onshore and offshore);
• Preparation, approvals and state reviews of design documentation for construction, upgrade and overhaul;
• Permit for use of engineering systems and equipment at hazardous production facilities;
• Overview of Procedure of Obtaining Permits for Construction of Facilities On-Shore and Off-Shore.

In addition, a presentation was prepared on the topic:  Approvals/permits required for facilities' construction in Russia.
